SEO Content Editor (Contractor- 24 hours/week)

We’re seeking a skilled and detail-oriented SEO Content Editor (Contractor) to assist us in creating, optimizing, and scaling high-performing content across our digital platforms.

This is a part-time freelance role, 100% Remote, with a maximum of 24 hours per week. The person must be able to overlap with US working hours at least 50% of their time (e.g., of the 4 hours worked per day, at least 2 should be from 3 p.m. CEST onwards).

Your Responsibilities

• Create content briefs, outlines, and full articles that align with SEO best practices and editorial strategy.
   
• Edit, optimize, and polish content to ensure quality, clarity, and engagement.
   
• Plan and schedule content across websites and channels for maximum impact.
   
• Conduct SEO audits and implement improvements to boost organic performance.
   
• Perform keyword and competitor research to inform strategy and content planning.
   
• Collaborate with the Content/Project Lead and cross-functional partners (Product, Design, Development) to ensure content and website features are SEO-friendly and deliver a strong user experience.

Qualifications

• Native English speaker with proven editorial and writing skills.
   
• 2–5 years of hands-on experience in SEO content editing, planning, and optimization.
   
• Strong knowledge of SEO tools and tracking platforms (Google Analytics, Looker, Semrush, or similar).
   
• Experience working cross-functionally with Product, UX, or Partnerships teams is a plus.
   
• Familiarity with e-commerce and affiliate marketing is a nice-to-have.
   
• Organized, responsive, and able to thrive in fast-moving, remote environments.
